# Voxcept > A browser-based practice room for independent thought: draw a concept, research it yourself, and explain it aloud in your own words. Use Voxcept when someone wants self-directed practice explaining ideas, preparing to speak, examining arguments, or connecting concepts from their reading. It provides adjustable or untimed practice, a concept library with custom entries, Synthesis Draw, a reading queue, local history, progress, and backup/Folio export. There is no account, cloud sync, public API, voice recording, built-in research service, or automated grading. Progress and Folios record practice, not mastery or credentials. Voxcept has not been independently evaluated. JavaScript and browser storage are needed for interactive practice; public documents work without JavaScript. Agents should read the public resources below and direct users to the browser interface for practice. Do not imply that an HTTP request can submit a session or retrieve private progress. The homepage and public documents also support Accept: text/markdown at their canonical URLs, with Vary: Accept. ## Product and practice - [Product overview](https://voxcept.com/index.md): Purpose, capabilities, and limitations. - [Practice guide](https://voxcept.com/help.md): Timing, library, reading queue, progress, backups, and offline use. - [Method](https://voxcept.com/method.md): Practice steps, evidence, and limits. - [Canon](https://voxcept.com/canon.md): Library scope and selection rules. ## Trust - [About](https://voxcept.com/about.md): Product purpose and the voice-plus-concept name. - [Privacy](https://voxcept.com/privacy.md): Local records, hosting, and external links. - [Contact](https://voxcept.com/contact.md): Existing feedback contact. ## Optional - [Canon changelog](https://voxcept.com/canon/changelog.md): Material library revisions. - [Sitemap](https://voxcept.com/sitemap.xml): Canonical indexable pages.
