Privacy at Voxcept

How practice data, browser storage, and external services work.

Your settings, concept library, reading queue, and practice history stay in this browser on this device. Voxcept does not require an account or record your voice. The app does not include analytics or advertising trackers.

Voxcept uses browser storage to save your practice and a service worker to cache files for offline use. Clearing browser data removes these local records. There is no account or cloud sync to recover them from.

Choosing “Search this concept on Google” opens Google in a new tab and sends only the concept title as the search query. Google’s privacy terms then apply. Opening a saved reading link visits that external site.

Exporting creates a backup file that you control. Reset in Settings removes Voxcept’s saved practice data from this browser. To remove offline files as well, clear this site’s browser data. Shared concept links include the concept identifier; exported Folio images include the name and practice details you choose to show.

Vercel hosts the website and receives the network information needed to deliver it, such as your IP address and requested URL. This is separate from practice records stored on your device. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its handling of that information.
